The Role of Religion in the HIV/AIDS Movement

Seventy percent of the world’s people identify as members of a religious community. The majority of individuals living with HIV are people of faith. Faith helps shape how they perceive themselves and the world around them and how they respond to their neighbours in need near and far (worldaidscampaign.org).

Join us for a discussion on the role of faith communities in supporting people living with HIV/AIDS and what role religion can play in a holistic view of health and well-being.

Date: Wednesday, November 28, 7:30 – 9 p.m. at
Location: King’s College campus, Room W166
