The women’s group at RHAC is a monthly social group designed specifically for women living with HIV. The group addresses some of the issues that come with social isolation by providing a safe, non-judgemental and friendly environment to women where they can share their stories, successes and struggles as women living with the virus. The group is coordinated and facilitated by Miriam Rivera and Keri Wheatley - both staff members of Regional HIV/ AIDS Connection. The group meets on the last Thursday of every month, except in June, July, August (summer break) and December (holidays) as there are other agency events taking place during those months. The group runs from 6:00 - 8:00 pm and meets at RHAC.
For more information on the group, please contact Miriam Rivera by phone (519-434-1601) or by email (firstname.lastname@example.org).
