We Need Volunteers at Sunfest!

We are once again looking for enthusiastic volunteers to come out and help us actively engage in the community at Sunfest, from July 6 to July 10. Who We Are Looking For

• Are you comfortable being in the 'public eye'? Are you willing to engage, interact and talk to new people?

• If you have a strong desire and ability to engage with the general public this is a great opportunity for you to help us in furthering our educational outreach in the community, and to help stamp out HIV stigma and promote wellness

What To Expect

• Engaging the public: Providing information, answering questions and handing out sex positive condom kits. Answering questions and referring public to appropriate agency supports and resources.

• You won’t be alone: Working with up to three other volunteers and/or staff

• Training/orientation: Pre-training (as needed) and an on-site volunteer training guide will be available

• Snacks and beverages provided 


• Victoria Park (exact tent location to be confirmed)


• Thursday, July 6th through Sunday, July 10th (See full listing of available shifts below)

• 3-hour outreach shifts

We will be delivering an empowering program focusing on positive changes, new developments, and research within the HIV/AIDS community and as a society on the whole. This annual conference helps to enhance the quality of counseling services in mental, emotional & physical health and to better meet the needs of our local community.
