A Taste For Life 2011 – A Savoury Success

The grand total is finally in!

Thank you to our sponsors, restaurants, diners, hosts and the many other volunteers who supported the 8th Annual A Taste For Life fundraising event on Wednesday, April 27 for Regional HIV/AIDS Connection (RHAC).

2,200 diners visited 31 local restaurants and helped raise over $72,000 in support of RHAC’s free services and programs for people living with, affected by or at risk for HIV/AIDS. Without fundraised dollars RHAC would not be able to continue to provide free services such as: Country Cupboard Food Bank, Wellness Assistance Fund, two AIDS vigils and much more.

Once again thank you for your support and we hope you will join us again on April 25, 2012.

It was also named one of NOW Magazine's Top 10 Books of the Year, picked as a Barnes and Noble "Discover Great New Writers" selection and was an Extended Book Sense Pick. Francis is a recipient of the Writers' Union of Canada's Emerging Author Award.

Not all sex has the same risk.

Your risk of picking up or passing on HIV depends on the kind of sex you have, your HIV status, your partners HIV status and condom use.

MediaED.org is meant as tool to help gay guys calculate the relative risk of the sex they are having.
