PrEP Clinic

Open by appointment every other Wednesday.

PrEP, or pre-exposure prophylaxis, is a medication that can be taken daily to prevent HIV.

RHAC’s PrEP Clinic offers intakes for the prescribing of PrEP, sexual health counselling, PrEP dispensing, full STI screenings and treatment for PrEP clients and continual follow-up care. We are happy to announce a partnership with Specialty Rx to be able to offer this to the community, with a nurse practitioner, who is accepting clients every other Wednesday.

The Clinic is open to people of all genders and sexual orientations.

To book an appointment (in person or over the phone options available), please contact Mia Biondi at mia.biondi@mail.mcgill.ca

RHAC’S PrEP Clinic has launched the PEP-In-your-Pocket (PIP) service. Like the PrEP Clinic, this service is by-appointment only and offered on every other Friday per month. PEP (Post-Exposure Prophylaxis) is not the same thing as PrEP. While PrEP is taken daily on an ongoing basis to prevent HIV, PEP is a short-term treatment for people after exposure to HIV.
