What to Expect
- Tests a small sample of blood within minutes.
- Is typically done on-site through a quick finger prick.
- Rapid testing can be anonymous. Some rapid test options require personal information. Confirm with your test provider.
- If the test is negative, you’ll know immediately.
- If the results are positive, the clinic will take more blood and send it to a laboratory for standard testing and confirmation.
- Can be completed at a community clinic or organization, or as a self-test.
